This method allows to fetch details about an ODS user. If no user name is given the authenticated user is returned. This means that user.info() can be used to get user information for an authentication session (see also Authentication via Session Id). name The optional ODS user name. Defaults to the authenticated user. short An optional boolean setting. If 1 only the most basic information is returned. An XML stream encoding the user details such as uid, name, or the personal URL.
